My new job
Well, I managed to get through the first day in my new job. I’ve never worked as a waitress before and there is a lot more to learn than I anticipated but not as much as when I started work as a phone sex operator for the first time. It was a nightmare, not knowing what to do or what to say, but I guess it is the same for anyone when they start a new job. My biggest problem today was remembering how the tables are numbered. I’m sure I will like waiting on people once I’ve learned the ins and outs of the job but I’m not sure if I will get on with my supervisor; she is very strange to say the least. It will probably take a while to get used to being on my feet all day too. Tomorrow I will be learning how to set the tables.
